In the United States I have three mystery series
published.
The Carol Ashton Series:
In 1988, LESSONS IN MURDER, starring Detective Inspector Carol Ashton of
the Sydney police, was published in the States. The sixteenth in
the series, FALL GUY, will be out at the end of 2004. In it, an
odious practical joker whose hobby is skydiving, jumps from a plane and
finds the joke's on him -- someone had cut the lines to both his main
and reserve parachutes. Splat!

The Denise Cleever Series:
My second series, featuring Australian Intelligence Organization agent
Denise Cleever, began with MURDER UNDERCOVER (1999) and now has five of her
perilous undercover exploits in print, with a sixth to appear in early 2005.
As you can see, I've dived deep into the
lives of both a police officer and an undercover agent. Clearly it's
time for a PI!
The Kylie Kendall Series:
The first in the series is THE WOMBAT STRATEGY and the fifth is THE PLATYPUS
PLOY

That's brash, enthusiastic Kylie Kendall, raised in the remote Outback of
Australia. She's familiar with perilous situations and dangerous
animals. Even so, nothing has prepared her for the challenges Los
Angeles provides when Kylie inherits a private eye business and decides to
lob in and run it herself.

Harder than she thinks. For one thing, Los Angeles is stranger than
she could have imagined. For another, Ariana Creeling, the owner of

partner who knows absolutely nothing about the PI business, although she's
determined to learn, quick smart.
With Kylie Kendall I've gone back to my comedy roots. My very first
published book was a collection of comedic plays, WAS THAT A MUFFLED
SHRIEK? Now I'm having fun with the irrepressible Kylie, who hits the
ground running, even if she is not altogether sure where she's going, or
where she'll end up.
